Reading Programs For Children

Preschool Story Time

Preschool story times are held on Tuesday mornings. They begin at 10 AM and run until 10:30. Children ages 3 and older are invited to join in the educational fun. Story time themes are shown on the library calendar.

Summer Reading Program

Each summer the library sponsors a summer reading program for grade school aged children. Sign up is generally the first week in June and all readers enrolling will receive a book bag complete with details for the reading program. Readers meeting minimum details will qualify for parties and prizes.

Summer Story Time for Grade School Aged Children

Each summer the library holds story hour for the grade school aged children. Sessions are held in the library on Wednesday afternoons during June and July, starting at 2 and running until 2:45.
