Dorothy Lueders Siebrandt Computer Lab
Thanks to a very generous private donation, the library has an eleven unit computer lab. This lab was donated to honor and recognize Dorothy Lueders Siebrandt. All computers are networked to laser printer and are connected to fast cable internet service. One computer is wheel chair accessible and features a larger monitor. Users are required to fill out a form and agree to a short list of policies to register for using the computer lab.
Besides accessing the internet, the computers are loaded with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel and the new Encyclopedia Encarta. Periodically, basic computer and basic internet classes are offered to users unfamiliar with computer skills.
Leila Stahl Buffett Genealogy Center
The Leila Stahl Buffet Genealogy Center is one of the newest centers in the state of Nebraska. Since it was opened in the fall of 1997, the Center has grown in resources and use. The Sunshine Lady Foundation established and generously funds the Leila Stahl Buffet Genealogy Center. Wynona Behling is coordinator for the Center and may be reached at behlneb@gmail.com. While housed in the John A. Stahl Library, library staff members are not available for genealogical research. The Center is opened during regular library hours.
